Jebel Ali's Q2 2026 throughput came in at 374,000 TEU against 3.8 million TEU in Q2 2025, a 90.1% year-on-year decline. Across the first half the port moved 3.14 million TEU versus 7.77 million a year earlier — a loss of 4.63 million TEU — and dropped from 10th to 32nd in the global rankings.
Nhava Sheva moved 4,402,907 TEU in the first half, up from 3,874,394, a gain of 13.6% that lifted it from 28th to 21st. Mundra handled roughly 4.1 million TEU and sits 26th.
The gap is the story. Jebel Ali lost 4.63 million TEU. Nhava Sheva picked up 0.53 million. That is roughly 11% of the shortfall. The rest of that cargo stopped moving.
